Kansas City was unable to convert leaving six on base
KANSAS CITY, Mo- Kansas City (5-25, 0-3) fell to Kansas (18-12) 6-0. Â A four-run fourth inning opened the lead for KU. Untimely errors by the Roos made it an uphill battle late in the game. KC struggled on offense coming away with only two hits.

The Roos will be back in action Thursday in a doubleheader against SIUE starting at 2 p.m.

- Top 1 / 0-0 | After KU put a runner in scoring position, the Roo defense got two quick outs to end the inning behind strong pitching from Jenna Milan.
- Top 2 / 0-0 | The Roos went three-up, three-down, including a Milan strikeout.
- Top 3 / 0-1 | KU scored the first run of the game after an overthrown ball at first base. The Roos locked down the rest of the inning, holding the Jayhawks to one run. Kansas came back strong in the fourth bringing in four. Â
