
Kansas City Men's Basketball Full Schedule Released

The Roos will play 13 home contests, including a season-opener in the Swinney Center on Nov. 6
KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Men's Basketball has officially released the 2023-24 schedule, heading into year two of the Marvin Menzies era. The Roos will host 13Â home games at the Swinney Center, providing plenty of opportunities to see Kansas City's College Team in action. Single game and season tickets can be bought here.
The Roos open regular season play with a pair of home games, hosting Avila for the season opener on Nov. 6 before welcoming Saint Mary to town on the 11th
KC will then hit the road for a stretch, beginning with a meeting at Baylor on Nov. 14. Kansas City has an all-time winning record against the Bears, most recently earning a 49-46 victory during the 1998-99 season.
Then, the Roos will play Colorado State in Fort Collins on Nov. 17 before heading to the Bahamas for the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship. Kansas City will play three games in Nassau, beginning with an opening round matchup against UNC Greensboro on Nov. 24.
After returning to the U.S., Kansas City will take on in-state rival Southeast Missouri State at home on Nov. 30.Â
The Roos hit the road again on Dec. 5, traveling to Lawrence, Kan. for a meeting with Kansas. It will mark the ninth time in program history that the two teams have collided, with the last occurring in 2019.
KC will travel to Lindenwood on Dec. 9, looking to take a victory from the Lions for the second-straight year.
Following a home matchup with Tabor on Dec. 12, the Roos will take trips to Bowling Green on Dec. 16 and East Tennessee State on Dec. 20 before kicking off league play.
Kansas City begins Summit League competition with a home meeting against reigning league champion Oral Roberts on Dec. 29 before traveling to St. Thomas on Dec. 31.
The Big Sky-Summit League Challenge will send the Roos to Sacramento State on Jan. 3 before bringing Portland State to the Swinney Center for a game on Jan. 6.
From there, Kansas City will focus on league opponents, hosting North Dakota State on Jan. 11 and North Dakota on Jan. 13.
KC travels to Omaha on Jan. 20 and South Dakota State on Jan. 25 before rounding out the first round of league play at home against South Dakota on Jan. 27 and Denver on Feb. 1.
The Roos remain in town for a game against St. Thomas on Feb. 3, rounding out a streak of six home games in a span of eight games played.Â
Kansas City heads north for games against NDSU on Feb. 8 and UND on the 10th before returning home to take on SDSU on Feb. 15.
After a trip to South Dakota on Feb. 22, Kansas City will play host to Omaha on Feb. 24, the final home game of the regular season.
KC closes the Summit League schedule with trips to Denver on Feb. 29 and Oral Roberts on Mar. 2.
From there, the Roos will head to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. for the Summit League Championships from Mar. 8-12.Â
