Brown’s Breakout Performance Powers Kansas City Past North Dakota

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Nothing good ever came easy. A lesson the Roos have learned all too well in the 2025 season but also one that culminated into a lot of hard work paying off Saturday afternoon as Kansas City (2-15, 1-3) found victory in five sets (25-21, 24-26, 25-14, 22-25, 15-13) over North Dakota (4-11, 1-3). The Roos and Fighting Hawks alternated set wins with KC taking charge in sets one, three and five while UND outpaced the Roos in sets two and four.

Kansas City Pushes North Dakota State to the Verge in Five-Set Duel

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City Volleyball (1-15, 0-3 Summit League) fed off the Swinney Center crowd Thursday night, taking North Dakota State (8-4, 2-0 Summit League) all the way to a deciding fifth set before falling in a 3-2 thriller (22-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 15-6). The Roos' inspired play nearly gave them their first win in league action and highlighted a growing confidence within the young squad.
