What is the Roo Athletic Fund (RAF)?
The RAF is the umbrella giving vehicle for Kansas City Athletics. The RAF includes giving to the Roo Athletic Annual Fund, Sport Excellence Funds, NIL and revenue sharing and capital projects
Why should I give to the RAF?
Yes, in order to make giving easy we offer recurring payment options via credit card. You can set up a recurring gift on-line or call us at 816-889-8758.
Is my contribution tax deductible?
Yes, your contribution is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. For specific question regarding the deductibility of your contribution please contact your tax advisor.
What are the benefits of giving to the Roo Athletic Fund?
As a member of the RAF you will receive exclusive benefits, such as gear, invitations to special events, parking benefits and more, based on your contribution level. All contributors gain the satisfaction of making a positive impact on the academic and athletic success of Kansas City Athletics and its 250+ student-athletes. See the benefit chart here.Â
Does the money I donate all go to a specific sport?
Donations made to Sport Excellence Funds go directly to individual sports to support their success. Donations to the general Roo Athletic Annual Fund are distributed via the general fund in a manner to support strategic excellence in Kansas City Athletics. Â
Does the RAF accept matching gifts from companies?
Yes, many employers match gifts to educational institutions. We encourage you to check with your employer as matching gifts are one more way you can make an even greater impact on the overall success of Kansas City Athletics.
