Five of the six singles matches went to three sets in one of the most competitive matches of the season

KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Tennis (7-9, 1-4 Summit) went toe-to-toe with Oral Roberts (7-10, 2-1 Summit) in an evenly-matched battle on Sunday afternoon, falling in a 4-3 decision. Five of the six singles matches went to three sets, with the Roos attempting to battle back from a two-point deficit. KC was able to tie things up at 3-3 with wins by Catherine Chrobak, Maria Bylina and Sophie Marshman, but ORU took the final point to seal the victory. Following the match, seniors Joana Miralles Cardona and Ashley Jacobson were honored in their final home match of their careers.
