Catherine Chrobak went 4-2 against league opponents and 11-3 in singles overall
SIOUX FALLS - For the third time in as many years, Catherine Chrobak has found herself on the Summit League's postseason All-League lists, as was announced today. Chrobak went 4-2 in Summit League play, earning a First Team All-League nod for the second time. She was also named First Team All-League her freshman year, and was an Honorable Mention selection last season.
Playing from the No. 2 singles spot all season, Chrobak began the year with a three-set loss at Kansas and went on a tear from there. She earned her first singles decision in a three-set win at Missouri State on Feb. 7, sparking a streak of six-straight wins and winning 11 of her next 12 matches. Along the way, she picked up wins against North Dakota, St. Thomas, South Dakota and Oral Roberts and was named the Summit League Peak Performer of the Week on Feb. 11 and 18.
Finishing the year with an 11-3 record in singles, Chrobak has laid claim to the fifth-winningest season in program history at the No. 2 spot. She is 29-19 in dual singles matches on her career, which would currently rank as the eighth-best singles winning percentage in program history.
