
Men's Basketball Heading to Canada for Foreign Tour

The Roos will play three opponents on their trip from Aug. 16-23
KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Men's Basketball will make its first trip of the 2025-26 season in August, heading north to Toronto for a week-long foreign tour. The Roos return a pair of players from last season's team: Kasheem Grady II and 2023-24 Summit League Freshman of the Year Jayson Petty. The rest of the Roos' roster will be released throughout this week.
The team will build chemistry in Canada ahead off the upcoming season, taking on three separate Canadian universities throughout their Aug. 16-23 trip. The Roos will match up against York University, McMaster University and Toronto Metropolitan University in preparation for their 2025-26 slate. 2023-24 Summit League Coach of the Year Marvin Menzies and staff will look to continue building upon their success in year four, coming off the program's first postseason win since 2017 last year.
