- Bottom 2 / 0-2 | Marina Karnes started the inning with a single and Garcia drove one to the opposite field fence to tack on another run.
- Top 4 / 1-2 | The Tommies' leading hitter drove one deep over the fence to cut the Roos' lead in half.
- Bottom 4 / 1-5 | A perfect squeeze play executed by Garcia brought in Lexy Smith. Then Hilbrenner followed with a single up the middle that brought in Garcia and Ashley Thorne.
- Bottom 5 / 1-6 | Delainey Fenoglio stepped into a pitch and drove it straight over the centerfield fence for an insurance run.

- Top 7 / 4-6 | After an error in the top of the frame, St. Thomas scored three unearned runs on a homerun to left-center but Hoveland finished off the inning for the victory.
- Hilbrenner finished the game with two hits and three RBI, while now leading the team in homeruns with five on the season.
- Karnes and Garcia both earned two hits in the game while combining for three of Kansas City's runs.
- Thorne swiped two bases and continues to be a perfect 6-for-6 on the season.
- Hoveland threw a complete game, striking out eight Tommies and only allowing one earned run.
- Top 2 / 0-1 | The Tommies brought in the first run of game two on a double-steal play.
- Top 3 / 0-2 | St. Thomas brought in another run with a deep sac fly to centerfield.

- Top 8 / 3-3 | The Roos' third baseman Smith started a 5-4-3 double play to end the Tommies' threat.

GAME 2 STATS TO NOTE
- Fenoglio tallied her fifth homerun of the season, adding two RBI in the game.
- Thorne went 2-for-3 at the plate, including the game winning hit. Vonfeldt was the only other Roo with two hits in the game.
- Camryn Stickel started the game, pitching four innings. Casey Stout came into the game in the fifth inning, earning the win, while only allowing one hit and adding four strikeouts.
Kansas City will look to sweep the series with the first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m. tomorrow.
