KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Women's Soccer (7-8-3, 1-7) left everything on the field for senior day, falling 2-1 against Omaha (10-2-5, 3-1-3). The Roos and Mavericks went into half time scoreless taking one and five shots respectively. Kansas City entered the second half with a newfound energy, seeing a handful of scoring opportunities. The Roos held on to the tie for nearly ten minutes before Omaha knocked in the game-winning goal. Emery Ruliffson knocked two shots toward goal in the final minutes of the game, but it was too late for a Kansas City comeback. White's goal brought the Roos to a total of seven goals during conference play.

KEY MOMENTS | HIGHLIGHTS
- 15' / 0 – 0 | Omaha crossed the ball to an open player near the penalty area. The Maverick player had an almost open shot, aside from a quick Sophia Limongi. Limongi came in from the right side, sticking her leg out and effectively blocking the shot and keeping the game scoreless.

- 63' / 1 – 1 | Omaha jumped out to a lead in the 56th minute off a corner kick. Kansas City took advantage of a free kick, with Ruliffson dumping the ball at the top of the box. Meghan White gained possession and hammered home the equalizer.
- 72' / 1 – 2 | UNO responded finding the back of the net on another corner kick, this time with Lindsey Birch scoring what would become the game-winning.
