Roos Dismantle Warriors for First Win of Menzies Era

Six Roos entered double-digit scoring, with freshmen Jeff Ngandu, Tyler Andrews and Emmanouil Dimou joining the mix
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball entered the win column for the first time this season on Monday evening, dismantling Calvary, 113-54. Six Roos scored in double-digits, led by RayQuawndis Mitchell with 18. Allen David Mukeba Jr. dropped a near-triple-double, finishing with 14 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

- The win is the 247th of Head Coach Marvin Menzies head coaching career, and is the first on the sidelines at Kansas City.
- Mukeba's eight assists are the most by a Kansas City player since Evan Gilyard II went for eight in a win over Western Illinois on Jan. 31 of last season.
- After shooting 12-of-71 from three-point range in the first three games combined, the Roos knocked down the triple at a 53.1% (17-of-32) clip tonight.
- Kansas City's 17 three-pointers ties a program record, previously reached against Southern Utah on Feb. 6, 2003.
