Kansas City returns to action in the New Mexico State Invitational tomorrow
EL PASO, Texas - Kansas City Softball (0-2) dropped a pair of games against UTEP (2-0) to open the 2025 season today, falling in game one, 7-2, and in game two, 14-1. A pair of freshmen got the starts in the circle as Hannah Burks started the first game and Maddy Duvall started the second. Derika Castillo and Ava Martinez were the only Roos to log multiple hits across the day, each going for two hits.
