2008-09 -- Second Team all-Summit League selection after tying for the team lead with six singles wins... finished the year with a 6-13 singles record and a 3-17 doubles mark... went 4-2 in singles and 1-4 in doubles in Summit League play... competed at the No. 2-5 positions in singles and the No. 2-3 lines in doubles... won her first match at UMKC with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Air Force's Shannon Young during the fall season... won five of her final eight matches that were played to completion to close out the season... defeated South Dakota's Janea Hagen (6-2, 6-4), Western Illinois' Zi Wang (7-5, 6-3), IUPUI's Sondra Caputo (6-0, 6-0), Oakland's Amanda Scheer (6-3, 6-7 (3), 6-1) and South Dakota State's Katie Elifson (6-2, 6-0)... played primarily with Jessica Ball in doubles... secured her first doubles win of the season over Florida A&M's Brown/Dean (9-8)... also topped South Dakota's Waltman/Nunez (8-1) and OU's Maxfield/Gogus (8-5).

At Ball State -- Played on the Ball State tennis team from 2006-08... finished sophomore season with a 9-6 record in doubles at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.. .doubles team finished 4-4 in the MAC... finished with an 8-5 record at the No. 3 doubles position, which included a 4-1 mark in conference play as a freshman... also played at the No. 6 singles position during freshman season, where she posted a 9-8 overall record.

High School -- State champion as a freshman, junior and senior... all-metro first team as a junior and all-metro second team as a senior... led team team to the state championship in three-of-her-four years... finished second at state and first at regionals in doubles as a junior... won the league doubles championship and finished third at state as a senior...was an East Kansas League Scholar-Athlete all four years, spent all four years on the Principal’s Honor Roll and was a Kansas ACT Scholar.

Personal -- Born on Aug. 24, 1988... daughter of Dan and Cindy Rist... father played lacrosse for Castleton State College in Vermont... has one brother, Jackson (14)... was ranked in the top-30 in Missouri Valley 18 and under league... coached by Aaron Marchetti... is a biology/pre-med major.
